CASS PRIZE 2010

 University of the Arts London is working alongside Cass Art and the Cass Sculpture Foundation in developing the CASS PRIZE, a sculpture prize to be awarded to a postgraduate student from University of the Arts London. As part of the CASS PRIZE, the winning artist will receive a cash prize of £2000 and a production budget of £8000 to have their chosen work produced and installed on the Rootstein Hopkins Parade Ground at Chelsea College of Art and Design in November 2010.

Following the exhibition, the work will be displayed on the Cass Sculpture Foundation’s grounds as one of its commissioned works for loan and sale. The CASS Sculpture Foundation is supporting Shaping Sculpture through the provision of an award to postgraduate students from University of the Arts London.

The Deadline for applications is the 31st of May 2010

JUPITER ARTLAND PRIZE 2010

 Jupiter Artland is very pleased to offer a three-week residency from 29 July to 19 August 2010 for an artist graduating in 2010 with a BA from University of the Arts London. The residency coincides with the Edinburgh Festival, the biggest arts festival in the world including the Edinburgh Art Festival, of which Jupiter Artland is part. Edinburgh is easily accessible from Jupiter Artland by bus or car and it would be a great opportunity to be able to visit the buzz of the city and then retreat to the peace of the Artland.

The Jupiter Artland Award comprises a three-week residency (29 July to 19 August 2010) that includes: £1000, Travel expenses (with a limit to one round-trip journey between the artist’s UK home and Edinburgh), provision of accommodation and food staples, materials and expenses for creating new work
