  MAJOR EVENTS

The Shaping Sculpture programme is a response to major, significant events taking place in 2010 that have as their focus the practice of sculpture and highlight the history of the University as being integral in helping form the practice of contemporary sculpture as it exists today. These  events include the International Sculpture Conference, From Floor to Sky curated by Peter Kardia, and the Henry Moore Retrospective at Tate Britain.

At the forefront of progressive twentieth-century

well as his celebrated sculptures from the 1950s and
1960s, reflecting the humanitarian anguish and
political uncertainty of the post-war era.
